Welcome Home Program* Details:

  • Customers may use amounts up to a maximum of $10,000 for homebuyers and $15,000 for honorably discharged veterans, active-duty military, reservists and surviving spouses of service personnel.
  • Funds will be allocated on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
  • Funds are available for Homebuyers to purchase a primary residence only.
  • NCB has to request that funds be reserved for a Homebuyer. NCB will first pre-qualify the borrower and once the borrower submits an accepted purchase contract, NCB will submit a Reservation Request along with all the required documentation that NCB will gather with application.
  • Funds may be used only to assist households whose incomes are at or below 80% of Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) income limits (see below), as adopted by the appropriate state housing finance agency, adjusted for family size.
  • Homebuyers must contribute at least $500 of their own funds towards down payment and closing costs and must meet lender loan guidelines and complete a homebuyer counseling program if first-time homebuyer.
  • Welcome Home funds will be available for reservation beginning on February 6, 2023, and will remain available until all funds have been reserved.
